Charles Williams | Continuum

For this exhibit, Charles wanted to incorporate modern technology to heighten this experience of his work to a higher degree. A three minute short film was created, with Charles narrating his life experiences leading up to the creation of his works of art. This film played on a loop and provided a majority of the light for the exhibit.

QR codes were created and placed next to the hanging paintings, that when scanned would pull a webpage that displayed a personal journal entry that Charles had written while painting that particular piece.

iPad’s were placed throughout the gallery that displayed user generated tweets in real time. The audience was encouraged to tweet their own fears with the hashtag #CWyourfear to interact with the exhibit.

This is the first trailer that was produced and released two months prior to the exhibit's open. The trailer was spread through social media for two days before being statically linked into websites featuring Continuum.

This is the short film that accompanied the gallery installation. It played on a continuous loop, providing the artist with voice and face. It was also the main source of light as it was being projected against a wall in a black boxed room. The film eventually found its way onto the major social media platforms as well.

Four custom QR codes were created to display next to the four main exhibit paintings. The QR codes were purposely smoothed and rounded to create a more natural feel. The Sensoria logo was also placed in the middle for brand recognition.
